Scotland v Poland

Whatever - but it is good to see that some Rangers supporters can separate the Scottish team from the SFA and are willing to take on those so bitter they cannot see.

Indeed. :)

But understanding why there is a bitterness is no bad thing. It helps resolve things, sometimes.

It's also good to see which one is the first to bring Rangers and/or their support into a thread not about them. :mmm:

Yeez never fail on that score.

Interesting you think the Scotland rugby team "do us proud" when they're results over the last few years are probably worse than the footy teams!? They're stated aim a few years back was to win 1 game in the 6 nations (that we failed).......

Is it because they aren't governed by the SFA?

I agree, we should have been capable of 3rd at least in that group. Didn't watch the game last night but the storyline is something I've seen countless times before and very predictable. Sad really.

I reckon they do us proud, bearing in mind we only have two pro teams, compared to how many in the other top nations?
Also, I'm looking at it historically........and they've at least won a top tournament.

Highlighted part? Utterly predictable, nothing at all to do with the thread, same ole same ole, boring, monotonous and quite frankly it's tucking annoying now. I'm out!

But if you're putting context in Scotland have very few top level
players compared to other nations. Even when Rangers and Celtic had decent teams there were very few Scottish players in there and even less that were the better players in either team (Barry Ferguson, Paul Lambert maybe?)

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, usually.......

2-2 against Poland is a perfectly respectable result, dont see what all the fuss is about, didn't get the results but tried as hard as they could, can't ask for much more. If you're not good enough you're not good enough. Historically Scotland punched above their weight in football but times have moved on and we're now actual flyweights so cant expect to qualify from groups containing heavyweights like Germany and middleweights like Poland. As long as they give it their all that'll do me.

To be fair bar a knockout punch by Georgia you've punched above your weight in the group against the bigger sides
