Which voice do you use on your satnav?
Tried a download of Yeti on my Garmin satnav today for a bit of fun.
Has the family chuckling cos we couldn't understand one word it said - it just grunts incoherently and then laughs.
Anyone tried it? Quite funny we thought.
We went back to the posh English bird again as we actually needed directions!

Voice turned off when i use it, only if i'm going somewhere i've never been before.

Recently came back from Washington DC, should have paid the extra for satnav. Supposed to go from Dulles to I-495 north then I-270 north. Missed the turn off and knew i was in the wrong place when i went past The Pentagon, Jefferson Memorial and saw Washington Monument. A half hour drive turned into a 3 hour totally lost wander.

I like the Homer trial one on the Tom Tom site but think on a long drive it could get right on your nerves. There's a Billy Connolly one two (probably not actually him) that is quite funny. HID prefers the voice on but it does my head in

Can't y'all read a map.?

Did the Lancasters in ww2 need a sat nav to find their destination.?

Some people can't even find their way round a golf course without GPS.

FFS. :D
