Ian McLagan, keyboard player for The Faces & The Small Faces, has died of complications from a stroke. Of the best known Small Faces line up only Kenney Jones still survives. Thanks for the memories & the music, RIP.

Every day's a school day, indeed he did, never knew that one.

Yeah, the story goes that Moon paid a well known (to The Who) 'heavy' to break his fingers as he was seeing his ex missus. Townshend found out and put the stoppers on it it, but had to double the payment (already received) from Moon. It was in one of their books, pretty sure it was 'Dear Boy - Keith Moon'.

There was a pic of her in the book........absolute stunner.

Ahhh, The Small Faces. One of my favourite bands and one of the very best. Now down to just one. Three real talents have passed along now.
Then Steve Marriott left to form Humble Pie with Peter Frampton and launched one of the best rock bands of all time.
I miss Humble Pie, I miss The Small Faces, I miss Steve Marriott ................... possibly the best singer these shores has ever produced.
