Don't see anything wrong with it providing it doesn't contravene PGA dress codes. Not sure how it'll go down at a H4H venue but it gets people talking on social media which was clearly the aim so it worked for what it was designed to do

So if your pro shop sold these at your club and/or they are specific golfing attire, which is the expression mainly used in dress code descriptions, there’s nothing stopping you wearing them on the course or around the clubhouse.

Have at look at your own websites and guidelines, how many actually say, ‘shirts tucked in’?

Gentlemen’s shirts must be tucked in and matching socks of any variety are fine. Golf shorts should be tailored and cargo shorts are, as yet, not deemed golfing apparel.’
