Theyre sprayed with some coating or other. Waste of time,they donct fly straight. Not even worth practicing with as I found out. Most of the ones I got were oval! They last about 2 shots before the coating comes off

My understand is that these are the ones have been in the lake so long that they have discoloured to such an extent that the washing process used to clean 'normal' lakeballs has failed to clean them. It's still worth it to spray over any uncut ones.
I've only ever had poor results from these balls (except 1 strangely) so don't use them.
Graded lake balls are cleaned, examined and graded without any further tampering. I'm happy to use Pearls and Grade As of these. Anything lower is for the practice bag.
