Received Some Good News Today!

I've been spending 6 years coming to terms with the fact that I'm going to get a lot of this! Quietly devising an exit strategy that absolves myself of all liability...:D

Tommy Cooper had the answer to this. I'll give it to you for *free as long as you look after any ailments that befall me at the Old Farts v Whippersnapper's meet.

*Well, don't do it then!!:D

So if anyone falls ill come June for Old Farts vs Whippersnappers, you can rely on me to look mildly panic-stricken and perform average basic first aid until the paramedics arrive. (touch wood, avoid ladders, throw salt over my shoulder etc that it won't be necessary!)

Congratulations!

Get signing them death certificates for some extra pennies

Anyone else thinking that the latter is the more likely at the Old Farts v Whippersnappers?

Congratulations, that is no easy pass.

Congratulations me man and well earned. 👍 Big sigh of relief and a large glass of red me finks.

Very well done!

The only problem with the Whippersnapers v Old Farts will be a bout of severe sickness of the Whippersnappers when the lose!

Congrats. Where you going to be working?

Thanks! Somewhere in the NW hopefully. I get allocated to a region based on my preferences dependent on how high scoring my application is in March and then I can be more specific and apply for different jobs within the region in April

Thanks again for the messages everyone.

I've worked out that you don't need to be clever to be a doctor!

I play regularly with 3 other guys

One is a senior Consultant doing lungs and those bits, one is a GP who is also a skin cancer Consultant, and the 3rd is an Orthadontist - if they are that clever, why do the put up with me ?? :p
