How do you know there aren’t Senior Women in the section the OP is referring to? The OP specifically refers to ‘senior members’

Nothing wrong with seniors … it’s used the world over! Does what it says on the tin. Your suggestion of changing it is political correctness gone mad. It ain’t broke, so don’t fix it.

the lancashire senior ladies golf association used to be call Vets, they changed that to senior. NO problem being called senior for me, it can have its benefits

At ours I think we'd better stick with the rebranding that named us as "Seniors". Apparently they used to be called the Wily Old Gentlemen Section - and seemingly saw nothing wrong with the acronym

Another one changed from Vets to Seniors and now all comps and friendlies against other clubs are over subscribed. Go figure
