Been out today for 9 holes, striking everything better than I have for a while and consistant. The wind was so powerful today on the first I normally take Driver and PW or 9 iron, today I took a perfectly struck driver followed by a perfectly struck 21* hybrid and still had to chip on.
Got 210 yds with driver :( and that was the story on the first three holes straight into the wind.

On the 4th my drive went 330 and was only stopped by the rough leaving me 60 or 70 to the green where I hit a SW out of rough to the back of the green :D

Hit a perfect drive on the next then hybrid again followed by chip on

Next hole I hit 315 as a bad bounce kicked it left and hit a small tree stopping it dead leaving 160 to the green from light rough.......9 iron carried 160 to centre of green then after large pitch mark ran out the back and was held up by the rough with a total distance travelled of 185yds with 9 iron :D

Next hole I again hit a perfect drive and stayed on fairway going 365yds, yes 365, leaving 100 to the green where SW didnt touch the ground till the back of green :(

Next was a par 3 head wind, elevated tee making this 188 play like a 165. perfect 5 iron came up short! :D

On the last I hit 335yds almost going in the greenside bunker.

It shows what a warm day and significant wind can do to a well struck ball. :D

One of those days HNJ!
One thing I would mention is that the likes of Tiger et al, all hit the ball 99.9% carry and only a couple of feet roll out once on the green, the difference between pin high and rolling off the back. Going through every green isnt necessarily a bad thing as most amateurs are usually short.
