I recommend people read all the books as well as watching the films…most are far better.
Moonraker is my favourite novel of the collection, whilst being one of the worst films.

I think Dalton was a superb Bond but I have a hard time watching The Living Daylights because Maryam D'Abo is the spitting image of someone I used to know.
Licence to Kill is a really gritty revenge story that just works.

Forgot how bad For Your Eyes only was - the only good thing was Sheena Easton singing the song which says it all.
Moonraker is just a terrible remake of The Spy Who Loved Me in space.

Brosnan was awful - but he did make Tomorrow Never Dies at Bedfont Lakes in 1997 where I was working over the Easter break. He was apparently fabulous to all the office staff who came in to see some of the filming and took our canteen lady round the car park in the car making her feel a million dollars.

The living daylights for me is one of the best

Great plot, good acting, twists and turns

The "KGB" milkman was one of my favs

Also Dalton looks like my mum's cousin ?

Bronson I enjoyed as he was My first bond I grew up with

Goldeneye was the best bond game ever made and I played so much in my childhood

Prob why I enjoyed it more

I really like The Living Daylights as a film - the scene in the opera house where Karla Milovy is in the blue dress unfortunately hurts me too much personally.
It's everything a Bond should be apart from where Art Malik and his mujahadeen mates gate crash the reception armed to the teeth.

I love the opening scene with the war games

Exercise control, 007 here.

I'll report in an hour.

Won't you join me?

Better make that two.

I like Brosnan. Bond was ‘over’ for a while before he done it. I am not a fan of Moore, the Bond most like Austin Powers.

Brosnan
Connery
Craig
Dalton
Lazenby
Moore

That’s more controversial than proV1 v. TP5 ;-)

Best:
Casino Royale (Craig version)
Live and let die (silly but best soundtrack, best henchmen, and introduced us to sheriff JW Pepper)
You only live twice

Worst:
Die another day (invisible car FFS)
Tomorrow never dies
Moonraker

How a golf forum is not voting for Goldfinger is beyond me and shows we are all doomed. ??
The immortal line "Strict rules of golf Goldfinger" and the swapping of balls to prove Goldfinger was cheating ?

Little known classic ?

Never Say Never Again https://g.co/kgs/7QirwK
Funny. That is down there with my worst. An unnecessary reworking of Thunderball.

My standout best films:
No time to die
From Russia with love
Goldfinger

Best Bonds:
Craig
Connery

The rest of the films and actors pepper a sliding scale between highly entertaining and barely watchable.

Then bonds CIA contact Jack Wade In goldeye and tomorrow never dies

Don't think anyone has played 2 parts before or since?

Maud Adams played Scaramanga's woman and then came back as Octopussy.
Charles Grey played Bond's Japanese contact Mr Henderson in YOLT and then came back as Blofeid in Diamonds are Forever.
