We had it bad during the night and winds of hurricane proportions down here this morning.

Summer well and truely seems to have gone doesn't it. Still on the plus side I can start firing my wedges at the pins again and forget about all this bump and run nonsense

And the silly thing is, we're still in August.
Can you imagine what it's going to be like in Wales at the beginning of October????

Yeah but it's alright for you guys that top a drive about 100 yards along the ground Matt. The wind doesn't affect that type of shot.

Dunno what you guys are on about, played yesterday, so hot I had a pint of orange juice and lemonade before I went out and got through 3 bottles of lucozade sport and two bottles of water (went back to the shop after 9 because I'd already got through the two bottles I took out with me) and I've barely had a number one since... absolutely stinking it was!

Course in decent nick. bit soggy here and there but perfectly playable.

I think it will help the course. Our brown fairways from a few weeks back are starting to come back a treat.

Ours have been lush green for about a month now. Taking carpet peices out as divots. Dead easy to put back. Just squelch squelch and you wouldn't know.

I've just got home from work to play in our midweek comp and realised i've left my waterproofs in my tarts boot .

Its raining good style here and it doesn't look like stopping.
