Radio advice - stereo?

Take a look at Ruark.

British company and make Phenomenal kit.

If you are only after a radio, then the R1 would be perfect, although I believe you can pair a phone or iPod to it wirelessly.

I own an mk1 R3 currently. Had it for about 15 years and it Still looks and sounds Amazing for the size of it. Super smooth and deep

The R7 is on my wish list but it will no doubt be a few years before I’m able to pull the trigger.

Got to be honest, I'm not a great lover of DAB radio.
Okay, you get quite a few more choices of stations over FM but I find that FM sound quality is much "richer".
The real benefit, imo, is the transfer of mw and lw stations onto dab. If they could have squeezed everyone onto FM then there would have been no need for dab. The sound quality between mw and dab is vast.

I'm not technical by the way, I'm talking in layman's terms.

I have had various DAB radios for years now.
To me, FM sounds like it's on the radio whereas DAB with decent speakers sounds like you're in the studio with them.

I'd agree with you regarding MW.
Crap.
But FM is best for me.
IMO of course

The stations I listen to are all on Sky so I simply tune in with the Sky box going directly to the soundbar.
I have got an FM aerial on the roof but have not used it in donkey's years.
