My wife and I enjoy this both of us are avid travellers and quite like this format.
It very interesting to see how they work together and the roles they play.
Also enjoying the little advantages gained when the locals tip them off to a good non mainstream route..
Plus the updates on how many days Jenny has had the same pair on ... if I were her husband I would say get them cleaned at the next check point or chuck them ?
 
Enjoy it too and the last series. Thought the couple that lost half their money were weak from the outset. "We'll carry on until we can't" and then "we're out"!

First series was far better for me (at least so far). Not sure Id want to be going to some of these places either

Cynic in me asks whether they ever even lost their money or if that was just their story to knock it on the head

It was a shame about the money, but some folk do wonder about wide eyed mesmerised. They could have done it but it might have involved some camping and digging toilets ... ! But both my wife and I thought they should have pushed as hard as and as far as they could. Having said that though, a couple has to leave at the first or second stage of the competition- perhaps there was some pragmatism deployed but the director!
And yes that women is super mum, she loves him dearly and it shows because he is positive and understands his episodes better because of it.

Think I preferred the 1st series so far.

oh and if my missus was like Jen I would rather be single forever. She is a right PITA

Wife and I were talking she preferred the series 1 competitors .. I wasn’t too bothered I think the first series will always have the advantage because it was the first. There might be more competition this time ..
