R9 Shaft - R11 Head??

Morning people
I currently use an R9 driver with the stock Fujikura Motore stiff stock shaft. I am considering going for an R11 driver but would like to use the 'old' shaft in it. Does anybody know if this would work OK?

Yep. The fitting is the same.

My mate, Paul McGinley (), switched the shaft out of his R9 and popped it in the R11 to see how it would work. It didn't give him the optimum results, but it works.

So it may not totally suit, but it's definitely interchangeable and may end up becoming the best club ever.
