Quick update...

Hey guys,
Its been a while since my last post but simce then i have become very happy. At my last post i was playing off 27 I won the overall october medal with a nett 63 and came 2nd overall in the medal finals with a nett 69! I feel like my golf has come a long way and i am finally confident and happy with my handicap! I won 70 euro so bought myself a nice new mizzy windshirt!

Also... in jan/feb time i am thinking about looking at new irons. Would you? or shall i stick with what is working at the moment? Thanks

If I had a set of irons which got me down 5 shots in a couple of comps, I wouldn't be in a hurry to change them.

Sell them, if you have something working for you, its more of a challenge flogging them for buttons and buying something you absolutely cannot hit, like a bag of 2 irons.

Why change? If you must then shop around. Lots of decent clubs already out (Ping, Mizzy) but don't forget a lot will come out in the new year and before the start of next season so there may be an argument to hold off for a bit

I think a period of consolidation is needed before splashing the cash. We all know how easily this game can kick us in the teeth after a period of good scoring.
