good choice methinks but its going to difficult to beat Mr. Fry.

Heard this yesterday.

Not sure if it will work. Stephen Fry does have a nice balance between sounding intelligent without sounding pompous. You almost felt that he knew all the answers! (Even though many likely came from researchers)

Big shoes to fill, but ST is a pretty strong replacement. The behind the scenes team does much of the heavy lifting in terms of the amazing things they dig up. The key differentiator of QI from all the other panel shows is that the facts remain to the fore and it is not only a vehicle for stand-up comics to make quips.

Actually feel that it has been going a bit downhill over recent years, though I am still a fan. There has been more focus on the quips of the commedians and the inclusion of random scientific experiments was just odd. Personally I think the show should be laid to rest when Stephen Fry leaves. Nothing against the replacement but everything has a natural lifespan and I think QI is reaching the end of its.
