Putting?

I'd suggest practising on a green, you get better feedback that way!!

Seriously though, whats going wrong, there are loads of different drill and practise exercises do help all sorts of different things.

Whats the main problems out there??

And before Bob gets in there, get a V-easy!!

If you just looking to keep things 'interesting' then you should either play against someone on the putting green / practise green or try and beat yourself every time.

I.E. lowest nine holes, most 5 footers in a row, most chip ins or withing tip in range.

When I was practising abit I used to make myself chip in one more ball than last time before I left.

form a compass around a hole (doesn't need to be on a flat green, in fact better if on a sloping green) with balls at N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW. Now, go around the compass and try and putt all of the balls. If you don't make it, start again. You can also do this with a second, and third, set of balls placed an extra few feet from the hole so you have to go round 2 or 3 times and try and get them all in without missing.

with this one, you could be there for hours!

I like to combine a putting and chipping drill.

Usually 5 balls from somewhere off the green and I've got to get them all up and down within 10 shots.

I tend to vary the distance, type of lie, type of chip shot (Low runner to a higher longer carry) and club used to chip with.

Sometimes when I get bored, i'll put my bag upright in the way and chip over it :D

I'll also put a couple of clubs about a meter apart on the green and try to chip so it lands between them.

Hey, yeah I have been mad busy with work and things!

Got a compitition tomorrow, which shall be good.

Been practicing loads and hopefully it will pay off tomorrow, big game tomorrow I won it last year so hopefully the double :D:D

Good luck mate, nice to see you back. Is this the comp you had your photo in the paper for last time ?

Welcome back young mono it's been a long time since you graced us with your presence :D

Putting with one hand behind my back has always seemed to help me with my putting...not sure why though...
