I had a putting lesson a week and a half ago - £20 half an hour and I have alredy got my money out of it.

The pro just moved my grip - changed my posture - moved my hands- moved the ball position - changed my preshot routine, this sounds major but it was only small tweeks.

I have only had 6 three putts from the lesson, not bad as I have played 5 rounds. Most of my long putts are within 1-2 foot and I have has loads of sigle putts. A huge imnprovement.

Only problem are the small nervie putts thet you dont know if you should roll gently or bash them in.

The Pro told me that very few take putting lessons, I asked and no one I have played with has had any! It is simply the bast £20 I have spent, not I am goin to take a short game lesson on Thursday.
It may be the most boring part of the game but if its causing problems than try a lesson!!!!!!!!!!

I had one recently and my strike is much better.

I used to break my left wrist at impact thus almost hooking putts but after a few tips for on the practice green before a round I've putted much better.

They really are worth while.

I have a lesson booked for next week, and I am happy with all the stuff I have learnt from my previous lessons so I think I will suggest a putting lesson.

Generally I am quite a good putter, but its the one thing I have not been taught so i know i will benefit from it!
