Been struggling with my putting recently and was thinking about getting a thicker 'jumbo' grip...

anyone have any experience or advice as to how well they work ?

Well have a mate who changed and said it worked a treat and i tried his out and seemed nice but i know it may not be the quickest way to improve putting

I dunno,I switched to a jumbo after buying a putter with one, thinking then to re-grip it,then actually having a go with it! I sank more than usual and it really helps tone down any wrist movement, give one a go!

best thing i did was download the Brad Faxon app on the iPhone and watch the videos. I used to really struggle, but the past year has been so much better after taking his tips and technique!

I have some Lamkin Mega Paddles on a couple of mine. Bit bigger than some midsize grips. Slightly heavy grips but really do feel comfortable, I would suggest putting a little lead tape on the putter to even out the weight.

I found that standard pistol grips are far too thin and I struggled to apply the correct grip pressure and these were a very good answer.

Not a fan of the 2 thumb or mega stroke saver grips though.

What's actually wrong with your putting?

I prefer midi grips as I tend to get a bit wristy, but if that's not your problem, then the probably wont solve your woes!
