Putter question

I am hoping to buy a new putter soon and am looking at buying a face balanced one. When I get it I will probably fit a two thumb grip to it. Daft question now, these grips are quite heavy, even the lite ones, will this affect the face balancing ?

I thought the balance of a putter was related to the centre of gravity of the head :mmm:

I'd of thought it would affect the swing weight more than the actual balance.
