It's not right but personally I wouldn't have a problem with it, I'd be marking my card, having a quick drink or a sarnie, sharpening my pencil, cleaning the grooves on my club etc etc. some people struggle with this game.

That said - I'd try to avoid him in future. :p
If you did that while he was doing his PSR for an entire round, you'd have no grooves left, just a totally smooth club face!

No smiley? Are you joking?

I think the Bombs Away comment might be in lieu of the smiley.

I played with someone on holiday that had a really protracted PSR, after 9 holes ( and letting several groups through - in the USA where such a thing is uncommon) I wanted to yell "Hit the darn thing" at him

Played with a girl today who lined up her ball on the tee as if she was lining up a putt, couldn't see the point in it and it was slow, we lost a hole on the group in front, fortunately the group behind were as slow so we didn't hold them up.

I photographed a bunch of elite junior golfers last Sunday. A lot of them had the same laborious pre shot routine, practice swing, sometimes two or three, move behind ball & look down line, another couple of practice swings, long pause then hit it. I think they've all received County coaching from the same source. The game is going to get slower once this lot grow into adults. I quickly learned not to raise the camera up to my eye until the were nearly ready, risked RSI otherwise!

Followed a ladies two ball last weekend as we were following them all round we clocked they were lining the ball up on the tee every shot not dissimilar to this video.

it appeared not to help them as they often did not make it off the ladies tee.....

They were rather slow too.

Can't help wondering if this is all a set up. No-one would play with this guy and not say anything to him and certainly they'd be voices from behind. We did have a guy in our Saturday roll up who would stand over the ball for 30 seconds or more as though rigor mortis had set in. Funny thing was he'd then be off like a whippet after it
