Had a session at the range lunchtime and I couldn't get comfortable over the ball and iron striking was really off (not good with a comp tomorrow).

What drills could anyone suggest to try and get me in the right set up.
Something I can do in the garden later, if the rain hold off !

Thanks.

Don't know what I was doing, but the weight seemed to be back on my heels no matter what I tried

would hazard a guess that knees were bending too much and perhaps also knee kinda bent first off in set-up to present as a 'sit butt down & back' kinda motion
which invariably means too little of a forwards spine lean so upper body ways too straight
so majority of the weight goes into the heels

just reverse the set-up procedure as ably demo'd by Mr Westwood so the slight knee flex comes last
(noting that the 'forwards lean' comes from the hip sockets not the waist or belt area)
