Tried a Cobra L4V F 10° Diamana redboard 57S yesterday.
Little bit too much loft for me, but so forgiving. Not sure distance wise if it was longer than my 907D1, but looked similar. The range at Silvermere undulates, so difficult to get a fix on the distance. I think with 9° loft, this could be a good match for me.

Only two problems really, price (ouch) and noise (double ouch).

Noise is a big issue with my 907d1. Its sharp metallic sounds like someone striking a hollow anvil with a hammer.

Can the Cobra actually sound worse than the D1 ??

No way is the L4V quieter than the D1. Bear in mind I was hitting alternate shots with each. I had to appologise to the bloke in the next door bay the first time I hit the Cobra, cause he jumped a mile.

D1 is just about acceptable noise wise, but the Cobra is on a par with the Nike.

Apart from the noise, it would be nice to get on a launch monitor and see if this is an improvement to the D1. I can still slice or hook the D1, but found this impossible (nearly)with the Cobra, it was so consistent. The bad shot was a straight pull left.

Looks wise I preferred the X version, but didn't like the shaft it came with so ended up trying the F. Only had a few options available to try, so may like to find Cabra demo day and try out some other options, once my ears stop bleeding.

This is a possible buy when I go to florida at Easter. Never thought I would say that.
