Afternoon all,
Little earlier than usual this month, but with the GM crew getting ready for a week of extremely hard work up at St Andrews we're trying to get a little ahead.

Anyway if you could cast your votes on the following two polls that would be much appreciated - results to feature in our October issue.

I was looking for the "chopper" option!

However since my game has disintegrated so badly I have had to tick "someone who talks a good game"!

There could be a full set of bats, balls, trolly, waterproofs, brollie, the works going for a song soon!

Jezz, picked Scotland (seeing as I live over here and wouldnt call going anywhere a holiday)
I noticed there was no "Great driver, occasionally finding other fairways but still makes par" option? :D

or I could extend that again to "Great driver, occasionally finding other fairways but still makes par (but when he hits his own fairway a bogey quickly ensues)"

I voted Scotland. Sorry to the others.

As for my reputation....um....I don't know. Given I'm still in the all the matchplay events...."Mr conservative who never plays a good shot but never plays a bad one either!" or simply "Senor pressure putt".

Where's the 'Wonderful bunker player...Gary Players lovechild' option?

Sadly it is about the only part of my game that is holding up in this period of inactivity I am suffering at the moment!

Scotland for me.....naturally. ;)

My boss once described my game quite well:

"Long game like a scratch golfer, putts like a 24 handicapper".

Re: Poll time once more - home nation preference + your club reputatio

Choose Scotland - as Ireland is home, regarding the other bit where is the 'in training - still'

Re: Poll time once more - home nation preference + your club reputatio

Ireland - need to see if my (very) distant relative still owns a pub in Waterford.

where is the 'can play most of the shots, unfortunately mostly at the wrong time'
