Playing your best

I play about 10 bounce games per competitive round. By the law of averages, I am more likely to have my 'hot' round during a bounce game. It has nothing to with being more relaxed, or focused, or any other pschyco babble stuff.

I agree with you buddy.

I try to shoot as low as I can when I play. I only go for the really tough shots when playing stapleford and needing to play the shot to make a point.

I do try things on the range like huge draws or huge fades and try to picture myself a scenario to pull the shot off. If I can play them well on the range it does give confidence to play them more in a normal game and I might try to filter it in slowly as long as I can play the shot fairly successfully.

That's just it.

I can do that AND walk the 15 paces it takes to find it again.

But it's DULL.

So I only do it when it matters.

It's much more fun, and you get better value for money, when you're wandering all over the course, including teh bits noone else has visited for a couple of years.

:p
