Playing at The Addington in the office golf society.. never been down there... Any advice/things to look out for. I am not in the best of my swing, so hoping to get back into rhythm by then..

Been quite a while since I played it, but always enjoyed its quirky nature!

Can be very frustrating at times - having to aim at then right rough on the 5th to avoid going in the trees on the left, because of no fairway watering, is the epitome! 5th was apparently actually meant to be the 1st - and it's a much better start - but they couldn't get the 'clubhouse' up the hill, so renumbered the course! Stay out of the bunker by the bridge on 6! Aim over the right side of the hump on the left on the 8th; play a 170 yardish shot off the tee on the 12th; fade a Driver in on 13; play short but central off the tee on the 16th (then left of centre for the 2nd). Par 3 to start and it's a tricky one - finishing above the hole is not recommended!

Some really interesting holes for us 'quirky course' fans and greens are normally very quick, though not a fast as Addy Pally next door that is also worth playing. Par 3s are really good (though still unsure about 13!)!

Enjoy the day!
