Playing matches as a beginner

I've shot 110+ in comps and as long as you're not slow you'll be fine. If you stick to stableford you can always pick up if you're having a nightmare on a hole.

As others have said, get stuck in. Most PP's will be fine, stick to stableford early on so you have the option to pick up but go and enjoy it. That's why we play the game
