Play golf or face surgery?

Start playing with one arm, as many amputees do. You'll be surprised how easy it is, right or left. Give your injured shoulder a rest.
 
Injuries never get better on their own. I had a bad knee and just kept at the football and ended up ACL ruptured and unable to play. My advice, get it sorted, miss a bit of golf but importantly prevent it getting worse.
 
Get to the physio and see what they recommend. IF you do need surgery why not try to combine all of your many injuries and get them all sorted at the same time?
 
Had physio on my rotator cuff problem, and it has just about gone now after about 10 months. Shame my back has now come out in sympathy. Managed less than one hole at Captains day this morning, before I had to pack in. Should be a sure fire cert for wooden spoon though with no points.:mad:
 
Had physio work for a broken collar bones and a displaced collar bone.

The danger with Shoulder injuries is Gravity ( according to the osteopath I seen for 8 weeks). If you don't complete the rehab properly there is the possibility weight of your arm will cause your weak shoulder to drop which leads to lots of issues with the neck/spine and all sorts.

You have displayed your bravery for 8 months, now its time to get it sorted.

Ha! The doc/surgeon said I was brave today when he stuck a camera 5ft up my butt with NO sedation :eek:

I'm going to ask the Doc about my shoulder (it kills me sometimes) but I fear that if it invloves surgery and not just a gentle rub here and there I might opt out..... depends what they say about the outlook. Don't fancy a huge scar although keyhole I'd have to think about.

I should have asked him to do the shoulder whilst he was in there... never thought of that although I did mention that we lost our TV remote a few years ago...... :o

I thought he'd run out of cash and couldn't decide between yearly subs or cosmetic work!

I think you should get it checked out, seriously. It might not come to taking a year off...?

Sounds like even key hole is too much scarring. Bum hole surgery is the new fashion.

I was wondering if he was a golfer... he appeared to be as I'm sure it was a ball retriever he was using :mad:

I was going to ask him some 'witty' questions like "Is it still playable from there" or "I think that's out of bounds mate" or even "It's a proV1 with 4 red dots....." but thought better of it as he seemed to have me pinned :mad:
