The honourable gents from the east will not be dragged into name calling we'll let our clubs do that :) :).

I think i'm unbeaten round there if i remember as well, hopefully a good game against the wan shoe high cheekers :)

Fight flight flight fight!

Maybe a diplomatic half may be the order of the day! ;)

Like a Hearts title bid the brave men of the East wilted under the pressure of a strong ham and egg like West partnership.

Some great golf played by everyone coupled with a couple of dire efforts by everyone saw the West duo or "arrow like" Bunkers and "find every bunker off the tee" thecraw walk away with the narrowest of margins, a 1 up victory.

Leading 3 up with four to play the men of the East started to apply some pressure with Algar5 holing an outrageous putt from off the green at 15 for a most unlikely birdie 2 which to be fair his golf deserved.

Thecraw then lipped out from 8 feet to kill off the match on 16 and the match went onto the 17th, thecraw and bunkers played the hole like a couple of fannies and there really is no other way to describe the pigs ear we both made of the 17th!

A poor Stevek1969 drive left Algar on his lonesome however Algar's par was only good enough for a half with a very conservatively played last hole by thecraw who laid up short of the burn with a 5 iron! A pitch and two putts later the victory was the West coasts to savour! Bunkers is still fishing about in that burn looking for his Pro V1!

Thecraw had an 18 inch putt for par on the 18th and to be fair it almost crossed my mind to call the game a half before I quickly came to my senses and slotted it him with aplomb.

A great day was then spoiled by Fabian turning up to freeload a coffee and a mars bar!

Great fun, decent weather, course was in magnificent condition and the company was superb, cheers guys for a brilliant day.

Salt and vinegar rules!!!!!!!

I will try and upload some photographs later.

Who cares? It's a minority northern thing.

Like Celtic/Rangers. One man and his dog are watching.

Sit down, shut up!

You'll not be told again.

Another cracking day at Dundonald Links the course was in fantastic condition alas my golf couldn't match it,bit of a struggle just now, topping ,duffing, shanking the odd good shot but driving is a mare.

Really good to meet Bunkers with the dynamite wedge play ,chipping in for birdie alas my bunker shot could only hit the pin,and craw ripping that new driver which is superb with the RIP Shaft, and algar for his big shoulders who carried me all the way around :),great company again guys, cheers.

The Dundonald Links is a superb course well worth the journey to play it.

C'mon the bet club,Dubai would be good :D

Great Day at Dundonald once again. Course was in fantastic condition given the winter we've had.

Lots of good golf and some best forgotten. Highlights being Raymond's pitch into the hole on the 8th and Steve almost following him in with his bunker shot.

I knew Crawford was driving it well with the D3 but to be able to point out the fairway bunkers to avoid and then to underline his point by hitting his tee shots into them with almost laser like accuracy. That is some club !! I'll no mention the result of long driving competition at the 14th, suffice to say the D2 may have just edged it !

Great Company. Thanks Guys and Steve your right Dubai would be nice. Although Crawford might struggle with all that sand :) :)

Aye here's hoping that's the first of many this weekend and through to September !

I spent more time in bunkers today than I did on fairways!

Actually it only seems like that, I was in a bunker off the tee at 1,2, greenside bunker at 12 and fairway bunker off off the 17th tee!

The 17th was a cracker though!!!
