hi all, anyone got any experience of pinner hill? playing there for 1st time on sunday and keen to hear people's opinions. website is very handy with a short vid for every hole!

cheers

Played it a few times as its just down the road from me. Lovely course but as the name suggests its a bit hilly. Some fantastic views from one hole in particular (can't remember which one). Have played there enough to give any tips as such but as you've already said the website is good for viewing the holes. Don't think I've ever broke 100 round there definitely not an easy course.

It may be the 9th - on the green you can see almost all of London (honestly I kid you not). The hole is very steep uphill & last time I was there they were doing some grounds work up the right hand side. Nice course.

Like almost all inner London clubs, can get soggy (clay based) but the current weather should mean it's in great nick!

17th hole is bonkers!
Try to ensure that you dont have the honour after the 16th...

You'll either love or hate the 17th, depending on if you get your club selection right.
Have a good watch of the video on it.
And don't use a good ball. high likihood of not finding it.

hint for 18th (par 5)
The "ditch" across the fairway is a lot more than a ditch. Check the carry.

Beware the fact that many sat navs will direct you via a no through road.
Check website for the right way to find it
Interesting clubhouse - back and front are two very different architectural styles

Played it nearly 20 years ago. I can still remember little bits, must have been good.

Crikey, I was terrible then, it's coming back to me..... :(

Fine for 15 holes, then walk in. Last three holes are junk.

Not any where near the best course in the area. By miles.

Not a fan.
