Ping Tisi Tec 3 Wood

I have to admit defeat that I just can't reach the consistency I would like with my current three wood - and it's a classic!

A Ping Tisi Tec 14 degree, regular shaft, multi-compond grip in excellent condition. This model still (I am led to believe) graces the bags of a few top Pros such as Jiminez and Cabrera - some feat given all the new models introduced by Ping in recent years.

When you connect with this, it stays hit and is equally as long as a driver from my experience.

Wanted to know if anyone would consider a 3 wood swop? I really would prefer to stick with Ping, as I have always played with these clubs - must be a stiff shaft though.

I've got a Ping G10 15.5 degree Stiff 3W, but I do quite like the idea of a "classic". I can hit my 3W just as far as my driver when I connect with it, but so far my consistency with the 3W has been poor, to say the least.

I go to West Sussex every now and then...could perhaps meet up at a range somewhere and hit each other's 3W and see how we get on, and if we like each other's 3W then we could perhaps do a swap. Not sure what yours is worth, but mine was £100 secondhand, and is practically new. If I hit yours better though then I'd probably be happy with a straight swap.

Thanks, that sounds like it could be worth a meeting on the range. Let me know when you are in the area. I live just North of Brighton off the A23 so am practically on the border of East Sussex if that helps.

In terms of value, these models tend to do pretty well when they come up on Ebay (for want of a better yardstick) selling for probably £60 upwards for an average condition model (mine is v. good!) so we will not be too far away.

I don't think you will be disappointed - the club is great..just a shame the problem is between my ears!

Rustington Golf Centre could be about halfway between us, and only about two or three times further from me than my usual "local" range.
