I fancy trying this driver due to all the good feedback people have posted here and elsewhere. Can't see any in shops to try so going to have to take a punt on evilbay, so needing experienced views on the following to minimise the risk.

I read it's designed as a high launch head, is it really high and I should avoid the 10.5* clubs?
Key factor is what is the Ping 939 stiff shaft like and the Diamana stiff?- seems to be the two stock shafts, are they heavy or responsive?
What about the Ping regular shaft, is it a decent one as there seems more 10.5 with reg shafts out there.

Thanks for any input.

I had the 10.5* in regular, it's a fine club. Being a game improver club, you'll likely find more in reg than stiff.

The Craw had one, maybe send him a pm?

Go diamana blueboard all the way. 10.5 should be just champion unless you already balloon the ball. If you dont want to go down the ebay route try

www.usedping.co.uk

I've got a 9* with a diamana stiff shaft if you're interested?

Been meaning to put it in the for sale but never got round to it.

Pm me if you want some pics, can send them across today.

Is a very good driver.

I have a medium flight just now and I like a light shaft and/or head, is this diamana blueboard the stock one?

PM sent NWjocko

I have one but it has a non standard shaft in it. A VS Proto. It's the longest driver I have ever had. Worth trying. A really good club.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, yes it does, looking forward to 'having a bash', never tried the Diamana Blue, I've a Diamana flowery one (cant remember name) in my Titleist hybrid which is extremely good so hoping this shaft and head combo works for me.

You have the original Rapture, not the V2 and that did have the VS Proto as standard.

Instead of eBay, try www.golfbidder.co.uk. I bought my driver from them, great service, great product with price to match.

a 'good' one on Golfbidder at least £120.

A very good one on evilbay £60-£90......

service is probably good but when you want to try something for a punt (no that's not cockney rhyming slang) then at £60 you can get most of your money back re-selling on evilbay.
