Ping iN putters

I've always used a Ping Anser, nice and simple and was pretty happy with it. I'd never even considered getting an overly complicated design as I just thought it would be too distracting. However, I had a play with the Sabertooth last week and was hooked, I literally haven't missed anything inside 6 foot since.

I really don't like this type of design, but they work so I guess it could be the future

I'd use a putter cast from the imprint of Pat Butcher's arse if it got the thing in the hole any quicker.

I have got the ZB model (short slant neck anser-ish style) a few weeks ago as I had been struggling with my putting (even went to 2 ball for a while) for the first few rounds I was holing stuff from everywhere, lovely feel off the face not too hard not too soft and the hosel configuration kept my hands ahead of the ball but the magic went a little in my club's august meeting where I had many, many multi-putts. So bad went back to my old scotty newport 2.5 (about 5 years old) for my last round but that was even mixed.
Conclusion: the problem is the puttee not the putter(s)!

Recently i have tried a Rife hybrid,Sabretooth,TM Spider and a Ug-le. Back to my anser for now,but if that Ping Bolero putter would hole a few more putts i could care less what it looks like

Makes a change for Ping to produce a putter that looks like another manufacturers model. Ping has had to suffer this since they began. There isn't a single brand that doesn't do it's own version of the Anser, none of them as good IMO. Long live the Ping Anser.

Amen to that, the original and the best IMO.

Yep, I find this style of putter helps me line up the putts well, but I can't seem to swing them smoothly, so I lose consistency on length. Ansers rule.
