Any tried, or got, the new Ping i530 irons. I'm planning a fitting in due course and wonder if anyone has a view on them

I tried them, they were recommended to me but I have a hollow head affliction.. I don’t believe they have a good dispersion front to back .. but forget that . These are good clubs well worth consideration. Feel is good

Tried them at the Ping fitting day at my club and very, very impressed. Nice compact head, a reasonable top line (especially for Ping) and very nice behind the ball. As close as Ping may get in terms of a classic blade. High ball flight (which was expected). A little too difficult to control for me off my handicap so I'd be nervous about getting the most out of them but definitely one worth trying

Have a look at their blueprint irons. They are small.

I have the i500 irons and they literally changed my iron play over night.

They are that good. Ridiculously easy to hit and launch in the air.
