Ping i20 irons numbering issue

I purchased a set of ping i20 irons on ebay from a proshop seller and now i have seen them in the flesh im begining to wonder if the 8 iron is legit.

The numbering on its sole is a lot more pronounced almost as if the font is heavier than the rest of the irons numbering.

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Certainly heard of similar issue, though not sure whether they were I20s and exactly what the outcome was. From memory, it was the 8-iron that was 'different' in that case too.

Contacting Ping would be the best way, possibly through another Pro shop.

I'd actually be pretty confident that they were legit though.

I play i20's, and all the cluibs have exactly the same stamping, number font and size etc. Also matching serial no's on the hosel's.
