There is usually some form of discount from the pro or golf store for buying on the day. It has to be a pretty good offer for me though as I'd rather take any swing data (club speed) and shaft advice and try others models and shop around a bit before making a decision. Some of these demo days can be a bit rushed and so there aren't always the best places to make a sound decision

Never heard of a discount as any sales normally go through the pro shop, no harm in asking though 
The hosting pro shop or range usually offer an incentive to buy on the day not the manufacturer demonstrating.
