Have just entered the "Veterans Open" at Orsett GC (in Essex) which is being held on Wednesday 17th June.

The course is literally situated a couple of miles from the Dartford crossing, truly an Oasis of green in such a built up area.
I played in this a few years ago, but an inactive handicap has stopped me from entering it since then.
It really is a lovely course. Lots of trees and gorse, with immaculate fairways and superb greens.
And at only £30.00 to enter including bacon rolls/coffee on arrival and a two course buffet afterwards it's absolutely stunning value for money.
It's an individual Stableford, and well worth entering if you fancy playing a really nice course for peanuts.
