I used to subscribe to Today's Golfer, but no longer even bother to buy it at all. The instruction section just got too ridiculous, far too big and ended up messing with my head. Liked the equipment review section. Too many adverts but that's how the mag covers its costs.
Liked the readers comments but not enough covered more on here and more interesting.

Interesting to see the views from the cross section of the forum-ers. Besides the actual mag, I am a sucker on how the mags keep the readers hooked beyond the actual mag. GM scores hands down. Like the fact that the mag is full of QR codes that can take you to the online videos. GM also has pretty decent YouTube presence; while their twitter boys absolutely rock!

Finally, IMHO GM can do with getting the website better, TG's has a very ordinary website, while GW does not have a website!!. As an IT bot, i find it hilarious that GW does not have a website!!

I like some of the articles in Golf International and Golf World but don't buy them regularly. As I've got more into the game I find the player interviews fascinating but my favourite pieces are the ones with the people behind the scenes. From the last few editions of Golf Monthly my favourite article was the one with Scotty Cameron.

I subscribed to Today's Golfer in the past because I got the magazine and a dozen Z-Stars for £30. However, I soon realised it was better value to buy a dozen Z-Stars for £29.99 ;)

I think where GM have built my brand loyalty has been through the interaction with readers on the forum, via social media and through all of their amazing opportunities.

I used to buy GM and TG most months but now subscribe to GM as they did a great half price offer. I hardly ever buy TG any more, but do end up swapping my GM's with someone for their GW when the've been thoroughly read.

I subscribe to GM, and then read my Dads GW when he has finished with it as I like to read what Poults and Geoff Ogilvy have to say.

TG really is a comic. Stopped reading it years ago. I am only surprised it doesn't have a page three girl in it.

LOL.... and to think i nearly got it in a buy-1-get-1 free offer with GW... Maybe I might save up and buy Nuts instead..

I don't get any UK magazines but subscribe to Golf Digest and Golf Magazine here in the States. I think I will jack them in soon as I haven't been reading them much recently, I've only just read one of the previews for the US Open so it shows how well I am keeping up with them.

What I can't understand is how I'm not hitting the ball 300 yards and putting like a demon as they all tell me how I can hit it further, putt better and pretty much compete on tour. Every month it seems to be straighter, further, better. If that's the case how come the average handicaps haven't come down in many, many years. Plus mine are full of adverts for boner pills such as mycoxafloppin

Still got lots of Fast Bike editions in a cupboard upstairs. It is? was the best of the bunch.

I will tell my Bro! he is deputy editor for them!

I currently subscribe to TG only, but that runs out soon so will switch to GM and use the trusty tesco clubcard vouchers to do so!

I used to subscribe to this years ago, until they started adverting some granny sex premium rate phone line in the back. I felt quite insulted that they thought I was the target market for this.

I subscribe to GM as I got a good deal through the EGU and was buying every month anyway. I'll buy Golf World as & when if I'm travelling but I do find alot of their content has an US slant on it.
