Only thing after another but I guess that's why we love it?

Hi all, I hope that at least some of you have managed to get some golf in this weekend!

Been playing for 8 months now, been practising loads and have managed to shoot a personal best of 86, so I'm fairly happy with how things have been going. But it amazes me just how much there is still to learn!

In order I have learnt..... Stance & Posture, grip, takeaway, wrist hinge, downswing - hips first, arms second, hands last, high hands in finishing position.
Whilst this might not seem like a lot, doing all of this takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get right.

Just as I think I have started to get a good idea of what is needed of me to become a half decent golfer, I then learn what an 'Out to In' swing is because I have one! So this then gives me something else to work on (that I'm more than happy to do).

I wonder when I'll finally learn about everything that is needed to become a good player? And I guess we are all learning all of the time with game and this is why we love it?

Yes think you always can learn something. Who know you may find something that works for you, thats not in the book. Just look at all the pro's they all have their own swing. The only thing they have in common is the, set up, I guess I'm trying to say you will find things that work for you. Even if no one else does it. But it has to come from a solid foundation.

I dont think anyone can go far wrong with working out what should happen in the impact zone. How you get there is secondary to making good clean impact between clubface and ball.

As someone stated here, the top golfers in the world have different swings but they all create great ball impact conditions.

I second everything said here. Will just add one thing. It must be repeatable.
