Anyone had any experience in using these? Looking to play at Belton Park on Saturday and through teeofftimes.co.uk (I think) it's £29.50 per person as opposed to £45.00 per person if I book direct with the club.

The only downside I can see is it's £5.00 per player for cancellations, and there's a small chance we may have to cancel due to some family circumstances, but I don't want to not get on because it's booked up/dont' really want to pay the £45 if I book direct (and have no cancellation charge, as you obviously pay when you get there), so might just take the hit.

Anyone had any problems when booking through these types of sites?

According to teeofftimes, Sat (24th) has already gone. :D

I've used this company and it worked flawlessly.

All booked. I assume I just wait for a confirmation email after the club have confirmed they have the time available. I booked 14:28 which was available 20 minutes ago when I called so it better be!

Now I just hope I don't have to cancel it (for more than one reason!)

Thought I'd rekindle an old thread rather than start a new one.

Used this to try and book a game for Saturday at Heaton Park municipal as it was cheaper on teeofftimes.co.uk than booking through the club. They had loads of tee times free but after 24 hours I've still not heard back
Anyone had any problems with them? Just want to know either way because if I can't get on I want to play somewhere else before it gets booked up.

Just ring the pro shop at Heaton, they will have seen it. The only issue i have had with it, is they can give you a tee time up to 1 hour between the one booked, so you book 9am, you could get a tee time anywhere between 8 and 10!

Cheers, I'll give them a ring.

I saw the disclaimer saying 40mins either side which shouldn't be a problem.

There is also teetimes.co.uk, I've never had a problem with either.

I used to used this prolifically in 2011. I found that most of the time it's bang on but occasionally found the time booked was differento ctual time. I just rang a few hours after placing the order and they too me my time.

Some bargains during the week if you're not fussy about times.

I have used both never without a problem.

Once booked o play a course whichwas an hours drive away, had a 930 tee time bookd but no confirmation, I teelephone the booking agents and within 3 minutes had the confirmation I needed.

Once you place an order for a teetime and pay, the booking agent has to contact the club to ensure the time is free, this done mainly by email, so dependant on how often the club check their e-mails determines how soon you get a confirmation or alternate tee time.

The typical happened, I went to pick up the phone to call the club and check whether my booking was confirmed when an email popped into my inbox confirming everything was booked for the time I requested :D

Some great offers on there even for weekends I found so will use it again.

4 of us played Mottram haal the other saturday for £17.50 each on a saturday. No temp greens or tees and playing off the fairways. The price increases for less of you though. I.E. £20.00 each if only 3 etc

I've used both sites quite a few times and never had any problems. They are great for finding Saturday tee times if you are a visitor. Some time I ring the course and offer to give them the money directly if they can match the price, but none actually do.

Yeah noticed that, definitely going to take advantage of their offers again!

Used them both a few times can get some great deals for weekdays and weekend afternoons - only problem with weekend afternoons is I've found myself following the twice a year hacker societies!

I used one of these sites once for a tee-time at Oak Park on Hants/Surrey border. Got to the pro shop and they quoted a different, more expensive price. I said that I'd booked through the on-line tee time site but they wouldn't honour it, saying they've "had a few of these". We went elsewhere.
