My friend has the cobra one length utility iron in a 3 iron. I’ve hit it the last few rounds and love it both off the tee and fairway.

I play a mizuno pro driving iron (2 iron). Would I be able to fit this with any 7 iron shaft and see how it works?

Thanks

With a shaft around 2 or 3 inches shorter I suspect the swingweight will be more than a little out...
The MP 2 iron will be weighted to go on a 2 iron shaft and feel balanced...it will likely feel extremely light and you'll have no idea where the head is during your swing....

The shaft will either be discrete (i.e a 6 iron shaft will be different to a 7 iron shaft) if the hosel is .355 or for a .370 shaft will have been tip trimmed to the correct length for the appropriate club. Tip trimming changes the kick point relative to the head. The lower the number the higher up the shaft will be the first taper on a tapered shaft.

When you look at discrete shafts the first taper is always in the same position relative to the head and is a way of verifying the shaft is correct for the head ( I have seen one club wrong in a set bought second hand, sign of a shaft replacement).
