Once in a lifetime

pity you have to log into facebook to see it, and I haven't.

but my No.1 son is engaged in the annual Tuk-Tuk race from North to South India. He's mad of course - he even flew Aeroflot via Moscow!

Sorry about it only being on face book, I have been trying to move the pics and the blog but I think I need help :o

This is the first leg of a trip to Vancouver Island. He is emigrating, his partner went ahead by plane (the sensible one) He is hoping to arrive sometime in January.

The next stages will be across to the Caribbean, through the panama, up the pacific coast to Vancouver, and it's a bloody long way :D

I will try and update the voyage now and again in case anyone is interested,(help to pass a little time on a long cold winters day). ;)

Wow that is pretty epic! I'd love to spend six months on a challenge like that. My ideal one would be to travel the length of Africa in a Land Rover, as I've travelled to a few countries in Africa already and really enjoyed it.

Once in a lifetime????

I thought someone had found out about the wife and I's sex life! I'm still trying to figure out where child number 2 came from???????????????

No 2 child doesn`t have a thing for white trousers by any chance? (Smiffy)

Or eccentric leg-wear tastes? (Viscount17 or Murph)

Back to OP, sounds amazing and just makes me consider how little most people do with their own lives.

Not done anything that epic.....but did take a year out in 2004 , at the age of 36 , and spent 11 months backpacking round a few countries . Singapore , Australia ( 4 hrs :) )New Zealand ( 5 months ) , The cook Islands , Fiji , USA , Mexico and Canada > Very westernised countries but had the year of my life !!!
