Can't believe I'm recommending Nike...... I've got 3 Nike SQ² Hybrids which I won in a comp about 5 years ago. they've always been reliable, but I've never really liked the square heads on them. That's for no other reason than I prefer the look of a more rounded club head. So I've been trying to replace them for a few years now, I've tried Adams, Ping and Taylormade, I've bought Mizuno, and Taylormade, but the Nike 2 Hybrid has never been shifted from my bag, and last week I gave my Taylormade RBZ 4 hybrid (which flies as far as the the Nike 2 on a good day) to my son in exchange for my old Nike 4 hybrid back - didn't see much point in carrying two clubs to do the same job. The Nike's are just so much more consistent than any of the others I've had or tried. With regards to distance, on a good day the 2 hybrid can reach 220 - 230, but averages about 200 comfortably. The RBZ could fly the same, when it behaved, but was too erratic, and left me a gap in clubs between 180 - 200, hence the return to the Nike 4 hybrid. From a reality perspective, the Nike's do the business, and I can put up with the square head for functionality over vanity.

On a side note, I had a Cobra baffler before the Nike's and remember it as being a very good club, just reading the other posts recommending it reminded me of a long forgotten club. If you don't fancy the Nike's. the Baffler's are a good alternative, oh, and my son love's the RBZ.......

Adams A7os 22*

It's an absolute dream to hit, can't believe I struggled on with my 3i as long as I did, this is longer, straighter, easier to hit, cost £30 in good condition on ebay.

I've heard good things about the Nike SQ hybrids from all corners, but in the specs I needs, might difficult to get hold of one!

I'd reccomend the Nike Sumo. Before I bought a set of irons that include a 4 iron I used this hybrid. So easy to hit and control, and nice at address as it is the rounded one not the square model!
