I find it interesting how golfers can do really well one week and miss the cut the next week,

Shane Lowry, Last week T4, this week zilch
Monty, top ten last week Missed cut this time
David Howell,David Horsey ditto

Or indeed like Paul Broadhurst at Celtic Manor, First 2 rounds were 66 and 72. Third round 84..?? work that one out.

And as for Jiminez... Thats 2 missed cuts in a row, might have to scratch him from my Fantasy Team.

I think MAJ's still suffering from Seve's passing - hit him quite hard.
As for Broady, you saw him at Wentworth - most of the time he was hitting it sideways so the good scores in Wales were a surprise.

It only takes a swing to be a fraction out, muscles to be slightly too tense, concentration or confidence not quite there, even a bad bounce or 2 to turn a decent round into a nightmare.

We should, in a way, take heart from the Professional's ability to play well one day and horrendously the next. If they can do it then it stands to reason that we are going to be even better at it!
