There's a golf forum that I frequent, it has a thread where members post about the round of golf that they played that day, since July 4th 2018 when the thread was restarted it's had 2,968 posts.

There's another thread on the same forum about Brexit where members try and convince other members that they know best, since July 4th 2018 when the thread was restarted it's had 10,440 posts. (And I very much doubt that one member has had their views changed by said thread.)




And I haven't even mentioned the threads about the Premier League season....
