Why dosn't NTL show the Golf channel which I believe is free on Sky?

i think the simple answer is that cable operators dont have the rights to it wheres sky have stumped up the cash for it and so offer it to their susbcribers

As swingstar said- you aren't missing much!!
Its a channel that i think could do a lot but is full of rubbish tv shopping and re-runs. I suppose it is restricted by tv rights etc.

Have to agree with the posts above. The Golf Channel on the whole is quite simply awful.
There's only so many times a person can watch adverts for Bald Eagle balls, Slazenger K1 Drivers, The Perfect Club etc etc.
It's a shame to be honest as in amongst all the repetitive drivel there are some quite good instructional bits. Recently watched a very interesting session on wedge play with David Leadbetter which was really useful.
