I am playing in a charity golf day at North Hants Golf Club on Tuesday 24th June in aid of the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice (www.pth-org.uk) in Farnham. The organiser of the charity day is one of my regular playing partners, and he has said the Forum can enter a team of four.
North Hants (www.northhantsgolf.co.uk) is the venue of the GM Help For Heroes charity golf day, so a chance to get to know the course. It is the 4th highest ranked course in Hampshire, and the 85th in England. A lovely heathland course which is the home of current US Open champion, Justin Rose.
The event is a 4 ball stableford with a shotgun start, probably at about 9.00. Coffee, bacon rolls on arrival, and a two course carvery after play. There will be the usual prizes, nearest the pin, longest drive etc together with an auction after play. The cost per person is £80, details of how to pay will be confirmed later.
If there are more than four forumers that want to play, I will see if we can get another team entered.
As an added bonus you will not have to play with me, as I am already entered in another team !!
