Nightlife near Formosa Park Hotel Algarve

Heading on a golf trip to Portugal towards the end of March and was just wondering if there is an area of bars/restaurants near the hotel we could go on a night, ideally somewhere quite lively but not the club scene.

I assume we'd have to get taxis but was looking for somewhere closer than the marina at Vilamoura, but with a similar concentrated area to stagger from bar to bar.
