Nice new shiney Orkas

I hit my irons well enough to thrash you at Moor Allerton mate... Fancy another challenge in the Autumn.. Winner takes all, best of 3? Neutral venue and a pot of tea and a Steak and Kidney pie with chips and gravy to the winner...;)
That sounds like darn good game ! :)

They look nice in the photo, but a question.

Are these thing real or imaginary? I mean; where do they come from? Where do they live? Outside of this forum, I've never even heard mention of them let alone seen any. Who sells them - or can you only buy them in Brigadoon? Only asking?

Generally we made just about everything else for ourselves

Correct. And this is why, during the 50's and 60's, any 30 year old man that had invested his hard earned in a British car (or motorbike), a British television, a British radio, a British cooker, a British washing machine, a British fridge, or anything else "British" that you care to mention, looked about 70 and had a life expectancy not much beyond 50.
We led the world in building crap, so what's your point?????

Good luck with the new irons Louise.
;)

I used to think the same thing ;)

It involves food. Course he will accept...

Hope the irons go well for you Lou! Nothing beats a new shiney!

The way I'm striking the ball with mine now has my group asking for a hit with them most weeks, and they all have them on the short list for when they replace their current kit.
Cant wait for this weather to sort itself out and get it some comps to get the hc down :)
Im sure you will love them.

Encouraging first round with them today, they have a lovely high flight without losing me any distance, hit them mostly straight too, I had a tendency to pull my old ones.

Sounds great Louise and good to hear you've already noticed an improvement after just one round.

I'm going for my first ever fitting this Thursday, also for a new set of irons.
Well you could say going for the second time as I went last Thursday, I was so excited I'd got the days mixed up and when I got there the place was deserted. :o

It'll be at the new indoor centre recently opened in Burbage using the GC2 Launch Monitor.

A good range of manufacturers including; TaylorMade, Cobra, Ping, Adams, Titleist, Callaway, Nike and Mizuno.
I'll probably try Ping, Titleist, Callaway and Mizuno for starters, but being a Mizuno fanboy they'll be favourites.
