NFL???

Swanny, how do you get tickets for iggles games, thought they were like rocking horse droppings.
Getting them at face value from the box office on day of release is virtually impossible, stubhub or eBay are your friend. I had some of the best seats in the house for the Cardinals game back in November which cost me £220 each....a lot of money but IMO well worth it....although we sucked and lost.....again.

New York Giants - worked in NYC for 2 years in early 1990s. Actually got to see them play (tickets like gold-dust) one freezing NY winter game - me, wife and in-laws up in the nosebleeds wrapped up with rugs and hot chocolate - die-hard Giants fan next to me drinking beer. Reckoned as he was cold anyway, an ice-cold Bud wouldn't make any difference. Good year this year!

My cousin is a Seahawks fan as she lives just outside Seattle.

Bears and Broncos for me. John Elway got me into the game but I have always followed all Chicago sports teams. In the NBA, when I am on nights, my son keeps me up to date with the scores. Particularly whem Miami (his team) play the Bulls. It was good when we won on Wednesday night. He was not happy.
I have a subscription to the Chicago Sun Times to make sure I don't miss anything.

Cheers Swanny.
£220 seems a lot but for best seats I think is ok.
Only a 7 hour jag from Manchester as well, will be looking to do this.
As you said, we sucked bad in that game.
Think that was when I gave up on the season.
Tougher schedule this season but maybe the team will finally play as a ..... TEAM.
Certainly have the talent.

It was a diabolical performance against a team we really should have been beating, didn't help that Vick broke a rib on our second offensive play of the game. And for whatever reason Reid didn't really get Shady into the game till well into the second quarter, for me, the key to success for us is getting him in to the game early on.

Yeah and not changing defensive play calling when the Cards had our former back up qb seemed a tad silly.
Think after so many years coming up short head coach may be the problem.
Still, we can't be accused of being glory hunters.

I started watching NFL when it first came onto Channel 4 back in the mid 80's. Since then, my team has been the NY Jets. Classic underachievers!!!:D

Never been to a game, went to New York once and made it to a NHL game!

I still look out for the Jets, but never expect much!!

I've been trying to persuade my dad for ages to get tickets for the nfl game at wembley, not sure when it is or whos playing but not too bothered tbh who it is I just really want to go! anyone else been to any of the football games at wembley?

I've been a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan since 1982 and run their official fan website, BUCPOWER.COM in addition to doing all their historical archive work. When the Bucs were at Wembley in 2009 and 2011, I was on the sideline and heavily involved in the event.

I also spent the 2002 season presenting the NFL coverage on Sky Sports having done occasional appearances before that. I now prefer, much to the relief of the make-up department, to work behind the camera instead of in front of it!

It's definitely worth going if you've never been to an NFL game in the US. The tickets tend to be expensive, but it's a decent day out. Having been lucky enough to go to Seattle and watch the Seahawks on a number of occasions, I don't do the Wembley trip now, as it's too rich for my pockets, but it's a great day.

It's the Patriots and Rams this season, so should be fairly one sided but you'll get to see Tom Brady bossing the Rams defense!

I was a bit young to go to an NFL game when I lived in the states but I like to follow it now, it's probably less expensive than flying all the way to the USA to see a game so I'll definitely have a look!

That's cool! I always think that I could do a better job than the current presenters, especially the big bloke on channel 4.
