NFL???

Vikings for me, when I was a kid my dad worked for Green Giant and had to go to Minnesota quite alot and we got to tag along quite a bit so I was indoctrinated into being a vikings fan in the late 70s and early 80s. At the moment we are awful.

Started watching in 1980's on channel 4 - when all the scallies also had the Pony trainers!

Dan Marino was the man but also liked William the fridge perry -still follow the bears and have been to all Nfl games at wembley -my holidays never seem to fit into the season to try to get to a home game!

I'm a bills fan, have been since I started watching it, Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas were the men back then, Bruce Smith too, class, not so good now, manning in buffalo would be something, but can't see it.

Now we're talking! I love my golf and I love chatting about it but give me NFL every day of the week, 24 hours a day....I dream about this sport!

Massive Philly fan and travel out once a year for a game. Favourite Eagles players, DJax, Shady, Vick, Hunter and Tapp.....Tapp might be a bit of a surprise as he's a rotational DE but got quite friendly with him over the last year and was supposed to meet up with him when we went out to watch the Cards game in November, unfortunately it didn't happen but on the plus side he couriers a pair of game worn signed cleats and 2 pairs of and worn signed gloves too. Favourite past players Westbrook....LEGEND!

Hate Cowgirls, Foreskins, Gnuts, Jets, Steelers and Patriots. I'm sorry to see mattyboy a fellow Palace fan but also a Cowgirl.....hmmmmm.

Missing the season already, free agency just opened up which is always entertaining for the first few days and this year is no exception. Really looking forward to the draft at the end of April and start of OTA's come July/June.

Awww now that I have said all that I really want to watch some football!

Daryll Tapp is a good dude. Was pretty gutted when the Hawks traded him and a draft pick for Chris Clemons. Turned out to be a genius move though as Clemons has played lights out for the last two seasons.

We've made some great FA again. If we can land Matt Flynn I'll be properly happy.

P.S. I hate the Eagles ;)

Miami Dolphins!, Miami Dolphins!, Miami Dolphins number one !!!!!!!! I have been to two games, the second one was last year v The Bills and am currently 2 and 0 !!!! It give me the biggest kick, every time I get to actually go and watch. What an awesome experience. National anthem sung at full belt, fighter jets over the stadium on the last note. Second game we got soaked, three times !!!!!!!!! They don't have no roof in Miami. The Dolphins forum I frequent is all a glow over trying to get Manning. We live in hope. Moore is not really up to it. Also Marshall has been traded, which fans are split on, (he's bin a naughty boy and quickly removed). Oh well, new coach in place, trading like Del Boy on speed, who knows what's going to happen next season.

You're going to be disappointed I'm afraid, Manning will go to Tennessee.

He's an absolute gent and a model pro, with regards to a fan pleaser anyway. Has promised me that he'll meet me next time I go out there but unfortunately it doesnt look as though I'll e heading to Philly this coming season as its a bloody expensive trip and the last couple of trips have wiped me out. Will have to make do with the Wembley game this year......although still need to buy tickets!

Good to see some other NFL fans on here, we are definitely in the minority! People who don't understand the sport suck!

Not too many tickets left for Wembley! - Only single seats left now in the cheaper areas, although there may be a few together in the more expensive seats.

Yeah I know, didn't think it would sell as well as it has. They usually release another batch of tickets later in the year, if not then it's miss the game or get cheap seats. Although can't say I'm all that bothered if I miss it, would be nice to see Bradford and S-Jax in action though.

They have already taken themselves (along with the Browns) out of the Flynn race apparently, which is puzzling because Manning was never a sure thing.

They will probably trade up draft Tannehill.

Matt Moore was pretty good last year, he's not getting a lot of credit either, ranked 12th best QB overall. I haven't heard about the Phins ruling themselves out for Flynn though, seems unlikely as Philbin knows him so well.

There was a report floating around yesterday which said he had cancelled his trip to Miami. Hopefully he'll leave Seattle with a contract. I don't think Seattle are willing to over pay him though, so if he doesn't accept what they offer him, I won't be too upset. He has connections in Seattle as well which might help, our GM, John Schneider used to be in the front office at Green Bay.

Not that I particularly rate Tavaris Jackson but I do feel for the guy, just doesn't seem to be given a nurturing arm, was used sparingly at Minnesota but was behind Favre, then in Seattle, although starting, just hasn't really been taken too by staff, players or the fans.......hope he finds a place where he'll be liked, if not loved although he's never going to be the creme de la creme of QB's which is what everyone wants.

Also, I think teams are waiting to see where Peyton decides to lay his hat before taking the plunge on other FA QB's or attempting to trade up in the draft.....unless of course your name if Mike Shannahan and you give away the universe for the 2nd pick to get RGIII. Although that move makes sense to me, they desperately need a QB and Peyton is only going to be a short term fix for a team, RGIII will give you, hopefully, 15+ years.

Actually, T-Jack is LOVED by the players AND coaching Staff in Seattle. Hell, he even won me over last year. Played with a torn chest muscle all year (missing 1 and a half games) and still performed pretty well (I seem to recall us punching the Eagles in the mouth repeatedly on TNF too :D - I've still not forgiven Trent Cole for Judo flipping Russell Okung AFTER the whistle and ending his season, utter bawbag cheapshot )...

What he lacks is the ability to march down the field for a game winning score when the game is at the death. I admire his toughness though and he's well respected in the Seahawks locker room by all accounts. the hawks Front office isn't panicking with regards to the QB situation which is why they didn't "pull a Synder" and sell the farm to trade up for RG3 or Luck and then horrendously over pay Reggie Wayne!...I quite believe they'd go into the Season with T-Jack as the starter but their whole mantra is "Always compete" and they love bringing in competition at all positions to get guys to perform to the best of their ability which is why we now have one of the most feared (and largest) Secondary's in all of football that consist of one 1st round pick and Undrafted FA from the CFL and two picks from the 4th and 5th rounds. Pete Carroll and his staff have a knack of finding great ballers in the lower rounds and getting "small name" free agents to perform to a high level (instead of bringing in every single big name FA available in any given year - how'd that work out for the Eagles? :D ;))

(in case you couldn't guess, I talk a lot of banter when it comes to football. It's bred into you when you play it and end up with a hell of a lot of banter between your team mates!)

I'd be well pleased if we could sign Jason Jones and Flynn in FA, but I have full faith in what they're trying to achieve and that they'll achieve it so if we don't get them, it's onto the draft.

All this football talk is making me yearn for the season to start!
